The support of the internally displaced persons from Ukraine is under special control

There was a videoconference of the interdepartmental working group on assistance to the internally displaced persons, established by order of Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy.

During the meeting, chaired by the Deputy Governor – the Head of the Administrative Office of the Regional Administration Lev Platonov, Vice-Governor Olga Okuneva, Igor Skobelev, Nikolai Kuznetsov, the heads of executive authorities of the region spoke on the key issues of support for the Ukrainian citizens living in temporary accommodation centers (TACs).

Particular attention was paid to providing housing and jobs to the refugees, as well as the education of the children in the educational institutions. The necessary explanations were given by the specialists of the Migration Service and other agencies involved in providing practical assistance to the Ukrainian citizens.
