The working visit of Alexey Ostrovskiy to the Safonovo district

Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy made a working visit to the Safonovo district, during which he examined the work of socially important institutions of one of the largest settlements of the district – of the Vadino rural settlement. Besides, the Head of the region took part in the celebration of the Day of the settlement.

The Head of the region began His working trip with a visit to the Vadino first-aid and obstetrics station of the Safonovo Central District Hospital. According to the head of the first-aid and obstetrics station an obstetrician Yulia Fedorova, the Vadino outpatient clinic was opened in 1987, then in 2007 it was reorganized into the Vadino first-aid and obstetrics station.

Looking around the rooms of the first-aid and obstetrics station, the Head of the region paid attention to the level of the equipment in them, as well as the decent general state of medical facility. According to Yulia Fedorova, every day from 8 to 15 people come to the first-aid and obstetrics station for the medical assistance, which is due primarily to seasonal conditions. The total number of people living in the area and served by the facility is 744 people: 120 children and 624 adults. The first-aid and obstetrics station serves the Vadino kindergarten (25 children) and school (76 students).

The next place the Governor visited was the Vadino secondary school. The institution operating since 1917 was burned down in the Great Patriotic War. The rebirth of the school was celebrated in 1946. In 1989 a new typical extension to the school for 192 seats was built: 10 subject rooms, an assembly hall and a gym, as well as a school canteen. Now the school is equipped with a computer room for 12 people, there is a constant Internet connection. The institution has the necessary computer peripherals (a printer, a scanner, a photocopier) and two interactive boards.

As of September 1st, there are 76 people from the first to the eleventh grade studying in this school and taught by the qualified teaching staff of 17 teachers. There are students not only from Vadino, but also from the nearby villages. They are taken to school by a specially purchased bus.

During his visit to the school Alexey Ostrovskiy paid a particular attention to the school museum, which tells the history of the village and the school in detail.

Besides, the Head of the region visited the facility for the pre-school groups for 40 children, which have been operating on the basis of the school since 2010. Currently, the kindergarten is attended by 26 children. In the pre-school groups there are all necessary conditions for education, development and training of the children. "Very good conditions. Nice place to visit", - said Alexey Ostrovskiy about the facility.

After visiting the social sites, the Head of the region took part in the celebrations dedicated to the Day of the settlement, to which the Governor was invited by the residents of Vadino. This November the Vadino settlement celebrated its 83rd anniversary. However, as emphasized by the head of the Safonovo district Vyacheslav Balalaev, the visit of Alexey Ostrovskiy on such a remarkable for the settlement day was the first visit of the highest official of the region to this settlement for 83 years.

Alexey Ostrovskiy also pointed out the high level of development of the whole Safonovo district, which is dynamically improving its performance and demonstrating the remarkable examples of hard and productive work all the residents of the Safonovo district. "You have one of the most successful economies, you have the best authority in terms of attracting investment", - said the Governor.
