Alexey Ostrovskiy visited the investment project site in the Ershychi district

During his working visit to the Ershychi district Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy came to the site of the investment project "Creation of Industrial and Technological park "VORGA" at CJSC "Glass plant VORGA".

The Industrial and Technological Park is going to be a complex of the interrelated projects of innovation and production character, connected by the similar fields of application, technology and infrastructure needs. It is planned to launch the production of architectural and construction reinforced glass, instrumental and aviation glass, as well as extra fine "display" glass. The project is going to be implemented during the period of 2013-2020 with a total investment funds exceeding 12 billion rubles.

The Head of the region was accompanied and given the necessary explanations during his visit by the chairman of the board of directors of CJSC "Glass Plant VORGA" Yuri Muraviev. He said that so far more than 300 million rubles have been invested in the investment project, a significant part of which went to the reconstruction of the production and engineering infrastructure, as well to the preparation for the first stage of the project – setting up LLC "VOSTEK".

As a result of this work, a great part of the office and production buildings and facilities, all the electrical and gas equipment and networks were renovated, preparatory construction work was done.

59 million rubles were additionally invested in the scientific research and experimental development: design and project evaluation, market research, feasibility study and development of the business model, necessary construction work, production and tuning of the first automated production line.

Currently, the company has 35 jobs and the necessary qualified personnel have been trained. As a result, the total of 630 million rubles will be invested in the project of setting up a highly innovative company LLC “Vostek” to produce non-metallic composite reinforcement in the region before the end of 2017, which will allow to create up to 90 high-paying jobs.
