The exhibition of scientific and technical creative works of the youth opened in Smolensk

The branch of the National Research University "MEI" in Smolensk hosted the opening ceremony of VII regional exhibition of scientific and technical creative works of the youth "NTTM Smolensk - 2015" organized by the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Department of the Smolensk region. Young scientists, inventors and designers aged 10 to 30 participated in the Forum.

"Every year it is so good to see that one of the leading universities of Russia hosts a regional exhibition of scientific and technical creative works of the youth. Here, you demonstrate your achievements and yet small, but scientific discoveries", - addressed the audience the Deputy Governor Olga Okuneva.

The Vice-Governor also expressed confidence that the creative and scientific potential of young intellectual leaders will be revealed in their future professional activity for the benefit of the native Smolensk land.

The exhibition is organized in three sections: "Involvement and development of technical creativity", "Research and development of innovative business models", "Career Opportunities and Prospects". In fact, "NTTM Smolensk" is a unique demonstration ground, facilitating integration of education, science, production and business.

At this year's exhibition, which has become traditional for our region, more than 70 authors presented their works in the field of education, medicine, electronics, and information technology. The most promising projects will be chosen by the expert committee to participate in a similar All-Russian exhibition of scientific and technical creative works of the youth.

Today, within the framework of the exhibition "NTTM Smolensk", the People's patriotic action "Georgievskaya Ribbon" was launched.

After taking part in this action, Olga Okuneva met with the students of the Power Engineering Institute. Talking to the Vice-Governor, they discussed issues of the regional authorities supporting young professionals, development of the energy sector in Smolensk region and a number of other topics.
