Two new kindergartens for Roslavl

During his working visit to the Roslavl district Acting Governor of Smolensk region Alexey Ostrovskiy checked on the construction progress of the two kindergartens, which are being built in one of the largest district centers of the region.

The Head of the region visited the construction site of the kindergarten for 150 children. The design and construction documents for the kindergarten were designed in 2013 at the expense of the regional subsidy to the Roslavl district budget. In October 2013 the approval of the state expert commission was received. The total estimated cost of the construction in the prices of the third quarter of 2014 including VAT was 70.4 million Rubles. The Customer: The Education Committee of the Municipal Administration "Roslavl district". The design organization is LLC "Architecture-Construction Company". However, the state contract with the general contractor - LLC "TCT Stroitel" was terminated as it turned out to be mala fide.

Now the construction works, the total contract value of which amounts to 58 million Rubles, are being carried out by LLC SFPSK(Smolensk financial, industrial and constructing corporation) "Schit" from Desnogorsk. So far, 64 million Rubles (which is 88% of the project cost) has been spent. 94% of the construction works have been completed. Small architectural forms, landscape design and fence installation are to be done. Moreover, interior furnishing is to be completed and technological equipment for almost 5 million Rubles is to be purchased. The kindergarten is due to be opened by the beginning of the new academic year.

Alexey Ostrovskiy is sure that the contractor will be able to complete the construction works on time without compromising their quality. Then the Head of the region went to another construction site of the kindergarten for 240 children. The design and construction documents for it were designed in 2013 also at the expense of the regional subsidy to the Roslavl district budget. The approval of the state expert commission was also received in October, 2013. The total estimated cost of the construction in the prices of the fourth quarter of 2013 including VAT amounted to 89.8 million rubles. The customer and the design organization are the same as for the abovementioned kindergarten. Since the beginning of the construction works more than five million Rubles has been spent (which is just over 6%). The geodesic axle corners of the building have been determined. The network of temporary power supply has been installed, household premises for the builders have been equipped and the temporary fencing round the construction site has been set up. The excavation earthworks have been performed, foundation blocks have been mounted, the brickwork on the 1st and 2nd floors of the first section has been completed, the plates overlapping the 1st floor of the first section have been laid. Also, external engineering networks have been completed. A contract with CJSC "Atomenergostroyproezd" to conduct field supervision is planned to be signed in the next few days. Currently, changes are being made to the design and construction documents: the architectural design has been specified, ect.

The contractor said that it is going to be difficult but possible to meet the deadline. The kindergarten is expected to open its doors for the young residents of Roslavl in the fourth quarter of 2015.
