The Governor of Smolensk regioncoordinates and controls the activities of the Representation of Smolensk region Administration at the Russian Government, the Control and Interaction with the Administrative Authorities Department of Smolensk region, the Legal Department of Smolensk region, the Investment Development Department of Smolensk region.

Deputy Governor of Smolensk region – Head of the Administrative Department of Smolensk region Administration Lev Platonovis in charge of the Administrative Department of Smolensk region Administration.

Deputy Governor of Smolensk region Ilona Krotovacoordinates and controls the activities of the Internal Policy Department of Smolensk region.

Deputy Governor of Smolensk region Igor Skobelev coordinates and controls the activity of the:

- Budget and Finance Department of Smolensk region;

- Economic Development Department of Smolensk region;

- Property and Land Relations Department of Smolensk region;

- Agriculture and Food Department of Smolensk region;

- Main Directorate of Smolensk region to regulate the contract system;

- Main Veterinary Directorate of Smolensk region.
