Federal support of the enterprise in Vyazma

At the beginning of October there was a meeting of the Expert Board of the Industry Development Fund, which approved of the loan provision to       LLC "VKP LT" (for the investment project "Implementation of new technologies for production of natural leather for footwear and furniture at the Vyazma leather plant". The loan amount is about 270 million rubles.

All in all, the Fund, set up by the Industry and Trade Ministry of the Russian Federation, approved of loans to 40 enterprises in 24 regions of Russia. The projects will bring 133 billion rubles to the national economy.

With the help of the loan, LLC "VKP LT" plans to launch the production of velour and new kinds of footwear and furniture leather by using the modern equipment. The project, whose total cost, taking into account the Fund's loan will be 386.5 million rubles, will create 50 jobs.

Currently, 22% of natural leather and crust (natural leather without finishing the front) sold in Russia are imported. The company expects to take up about 11% of the market share, partly by supplanting foreign suppliers while exporting half of the additional production volume to Italy. Among the competitive advantages of the Vyazma plant produce there is a large palette of colors, the optimal value for money compared with the similar products, designing new products by international technology experts and using Russian raw materials, which allows to fix the ruble prices for the customers.

The Vyazma leather plant was founded in 1875. In 1999 it was reorganized, its owners changed and LLC "VKP LT" was set up as a major company engaged in the processing and production of leather. To date, it employs 380 people, the total area of ​​production facilities is 5.5 hectares.

Since its creation the company has gone a long way of technological development from the production of semi-finished product to finished leather. For many years the company has been a leader in the production of furniture leather in Russia. In 2011, it began developing production of footwear leather, which currently accounts for 50% of the total production. To date, the main customers of the plant are such shoe factories in Russia and Belarus as Ralf Ringer, Parity, Faraday, Giotto, San Marco, Marco, Sivelga.

The Company's products are supplied to such Russian and Belarusian furniture factories as MD, King of Sofas, Slavyanskiy Dvor, Vyatka Furniture, Borovichi Furniture, Pinskdrev-Adriano, Molodechno furniture, while 40% of its produce is exported to Italy, Portugal and India.

All customers are direct consumers of finished leather and produce footwear and furniture. High quality allows the Company to maintain a stable demand for manufactured products. In the last two years, 100% of its production capacity has been taken up, while the volume of orders is much higher than the production capacity. It makes the Company confident that 50 % increase in its production volume will be guaranteed by the customer demand.
