Alexey Ostrovskiy congratulated the staff of PJSC "Dorogobuzh" (public joint stock company) on the anniversary of the company

The Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy took part in the ceremony dedicated to the 50th anniversary of PJSC"Dorogobuzh" (public joint stock company).

The company producing nitrogen fertilizers was created in 1965 to supply the Central region of Russia and Belarus with the necessary types of fertilizers. The same year the production of ammonia and ammonia water was launched. Currently, the public joint stock company "Dorogobuzh" (its previous name was OJSC "Dorogobuzh" (open joint stock company) is a part of the powerful chemical Group "Akron".

For over five decades of operation the Dorogobuzh nitrogen fertilizer plant has become the flagship of the Smolensk industry and the largest agrochemicals company, one of the leading domestic manufacturers of fertilizers.

Today, the company produces more than twenty kinds of chemical products, including technical ammonia, ammonium nitrate, NPK, dry mixed fertilizers. The quality of the fertilizers produced in Dorogobuzh is appreciated not only in Russia but also in many countries around the world, and the products of the Dorogobuzh chemists are preferred.

During the ceremony it was pointed out that the management of the plant is successfully solving the problematic issues in a constructive cooperation with the regional Administration. The adoption of joint measures allows the company to continue a highly productive operation, giving taxes to the budgets of all levels.
