The reliable investments in gasification of the region

The Vice-Governors Yuri Puchkov and Andrei Borisov held a meeting of the permanent Commission on developing the policy of repayment and restructuring of the debt for the fuel and energy resources (FER) previously consumed on the territory of the Smolensk region.

Fulfillment of obligations on paying for the consumption of utilities, and fuel and energy resources by the organizations of the municipal complex in the region is under constant control of the regional Administration. Therefore, the Commission takes the administrative and organizational measures to stabilize and reduce the debt, develops and monitors the activities on settling the claims of the power supply organizations.

So, on June 30, 2015, in Moscow there was a working meeting of the Governor of the Smolensk region Alexey Ostrovskiy with the Chairman of the Management Board of OAO "Gazprom" (open joint stock company) Alexey Miller, during which the issue of strengthening of payment discipline in the sphere of natural gas supply was considered. As a result of the negotiations on the debt settlement and normalization of payment for the consumed gas, the Smolensk region was the only region of the Russian Federation, for which the head of "Gazprom" agreed to approve the debt restructuring (repayment) schedule of the main debtors for the natural gas consumed for the 5-year period since July 2015.
