The "Space" flash mobs in the Smolensk region

The events were held in the center of Smolensk and in the birthplace of the first cosmonaut in Gagarin.

On April 12, dozens of young people took part in a dance flesh mob held in Lenin square of the regional center. While dancing they lined up in the words "Gagarin", "Space", and "Hooray".  The action lasted about three minutes, and then the balloons were released in the sky.

The hometown of the first cosmonaut - Gagarin - took part in the all-Russian flash mob "Raise your head", organized by the state corporation "Roscosmos". In Red Square of the regional center, the participants released into the sky about a thousand of balloons with the symbols of the 55th anniversary of the first space flight. Also, there was an installation "Gagarin's Start", which represented a model of the rocket with the button "I love space," which anyone could press.
