The Plenipotentiary Representative of the President visiting the Gagarin district

The Plenipotentiary Representative of the RF President in the Central Federal District Alexander Beglov came with a working visit to the Gagarin district.

The program of Alexander Beglov’s visit included going to several cultural and educational facilities, as well as visiting a number of companies, which are currently carrying out investment projects.

First of all, the plenipotentiary Representative of the President Alexander Beglov and the Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy paid tribute to the space pioneer and laid flowers at the monument to Y.A. Gagarin.

Through the efforts of the regional administration the Y.A. Gagarin Memorial Museum has become the largest cultural center of the Smolensk region and one of the leading museums of the country's space exploration history. It hosts major international and all-Russian projects and events - the annual international socio-scientific readings dedicated to the memory of Yuri Gagarin, the art exhibition "Gagarin Spring", the children's intellectual quiz "Gagarin Starts».

Having the opportunity to talk to the Plenipotentiary Presidential Representative, the young people asked him to pass the Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin the invitation to come to visit Yuri Gagarin's homeland.

After the tour of the school museum, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President signed the book of the honorary guests.
