XXI Scientific and Practical conference "Complex Protection of Information"

From 17 to 19 of May, 2016 Smolensk will host the XXI Scientific and Practical conference of the Union State "Complex protection of information" held together with state agencies and authorities of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus.

The organizers of the conference are the Permanent Committee of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, the Administration of the Russian Security Council, and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia.

The conference "Complex Protection of Information" is traditionally held in Belarus and in Russia in turn, and is one of the events supported by the agencies of the Union State of Russia and Belarus. For twenty years the conference has developed a formal policy and interstate cooperation in the field of information security. Also, it provides opportunities for the exchange of practical experiences, technology and solutions.

The agenda of this year's conference includes the following issues:

•  information security in the Union State;

• creation of cross-border space of trust;

• counteractions to cybercrime;

• new ideas and approaches to security of information technology;

• protection of automated control systems of technological processes;

• standardization in the field of information security;

• technical means of information protection;

• virtual problems with staffing in the information security industry;

• schoolofyoungscientists.

Information security experts will share their vision of the current threats and ways to counter them with new approaches and solutions. Joint approaches to building up new mechanisms of the national information security will be worked out. One of the key issues will be import substitution in the information security industry - the accelerated development of the national scientific and industrial potential.
