The best WEB-projects on the Internet were selected in Smolensk

The Smolensk State University hosted an award ceremony of the XVII regional competition on WEB-projects on the Internet.

The contest, held by the regional Administration, is a significant event contributing to the expansion of the information field of Smolensk region on the Internet. Its aims are to promote moral and patriotic education of the youth, to encourage the introduction of information technology in the field of education and culture, and most importantly to support for the best youth information technology projects, their creative and intellectual potential, their interest in computer science.

The expert council had to choose from the 43 projects submitted by schools, institutions of higher and secondary professional education, individual participants and creative teams on such topics as "Healthy Lifestyle", "Smolensk region: unknown pages of history", "Cherished places of Smolensk region".

The winners and participants were awarded prizes and monetary certificates, diplomas and certificates from the Administration of Smolensk region.
