Mikhail Skokov was awarded the Order of St. Grand Prince Dimitry Donskoy III degree

Mikhail Skokov, Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Smolensk region in 2012-2016, on the basis of the Decree of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill was awarded the Order of St. Grand Prince Dmitry Donskoy III degree. Today, in the building of the Administration the Metropolitan of Smolensk and Roslavl Isidor presented the award to the former head of the Smolensk police in the presence of the Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy.

Mikhail Skokov, Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Smolensk region in 2012-2016, on the basis of the Decree of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill was awarded the Order of St. Grand Prince Dmitry Donskoy III degree. Today, in the building of the Administration the Metropolitan of Smolensk and Roslavl Isidor presented the award to the former head of the Smolensk police in the presence of the Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy.

The Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy also congratulated Mikhail Skokov on receiving this well-deserved award: "Mikhail Ivanovich Skokov worked in  Smolensk region for quite a long period of time and provided substantial assistance to the regional Administration and municipalities, and to all the residents, including the Smolensk diocese, and then the Metropolia. You, Mikhail Ivanovich, undoubtedly have deserved this award. You have done so much for  Smolensk region, and let the leader who will come to you to replace with the help of God keep up to the level you have set".

In his turn Mikhail Skokov, who is currently the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, thanked the Head of the region and the Patriarch for the mutual work and said: "Thank you very much for such a high evaluation of my humble work in  Smolensk region".
