Smolensk region will receive funds to implement additional measures in the area of employment

The Russian government has approved a draft order "On the distribution of subsidies from the federal budget, provided to the budgets of the Russian Federation subjects to implement additional measures in the area of ​​employment, aimed at reducing tensions on the employment market of the Russian Federation", developed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Russia.

17 regions of the country, including Smolensk region, will receive the funds. Our region will be allocated 20.1 million rubles.

The money will be used to finance the regional programs aimed at advance professional training and temporary employment of people at risk of dismissal, as well as compensation of the employers’ costs of partial payment to the employed people and disabled persons.

"The implementation of additional measures in 17 regions will support the employment of 25.8 thousand people in more than 200 organizations,"- said the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation Maxim Topilin.
