The residents of Smolensk became the winners of the All-Russian competition "Family of the Year"

The results of the first All-Russian competition "Family of the Year", which was initiated by the Labor and Social Protection Ministry of the Russian Federation together with the Federal Foundation for the support of children in difficult life situation, were announced. The main goal of the event is to promote and enhance the social prestige of the family life style, family values ​​and responsible parenthood.

The competition was held in 5 nominations: "Large family", "Young family", "Rural family," "Golden family of Russia", "Family - the keeper of traditions". The competent jury of the competition consisted of representatives of federal and regional public authorities, non-profit organizations, and public figures.

Smolensk region was represented by five families - winners of the regional stage of the All-Russian competition of this year and similar competitions held previously.

In the nomination "Large family" the winners were 22 families from different regions of the Russian Federation, including the Krovtsov family from Smolensk region.

Grigory and Olesya Kravtsov are bringing up six children. Last year, they took the 1st prize of the regional competition "Family of the Year", which is held on the task of Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy. In addition, Olesya Kravtsova was awarded an Anna Timofeevna Gagarina "Maternal Glory" medal of Smolensk region.

The honor book "Family of the Year. Russia, 2016 " with the results of the All-Russian competition will be published, and the winners will receive memorable presents.
