Reception of citizens on Constitution Day

There was a wide-ranging reception of citizens in Smolensk region on December 12, the day of the adoption of the main document of the country - the Constitution of the Russian Federation.

In accordance with the commission of the President of Russia, the All-Russian day of reception of citizens has been held in our country for the fourth time.

From midday to 9.00 p.m. Moscow time sharp, the heads of executive authorities of the region, municipalities, including all the rural settlements, as well as federal agencies located on the territory of Smolensk region answered the applicants' questions with expertise and competence and dealt in detail with the problems that residents of Smolensk region turned to them with.

On the task of Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy, Deputy Governor - Head of the Administrative Office of the Administration of the region Anna Kozhurina was personally receiving visitors at the Reception of citizens’ applications office of the Administration of Smolensk region. The applicants received professional explanations, recommendations and detailed answers to all the range of the asked questions.

To consider the received applications promptly there was interagency cooperation established, which allowed in the mode of on-line videoconferencing format to provide personal reception of citizens who came to the wrong jurisdiction, by the specialized agencies and specific officials. To do it, 400 computerized workplaces of the authorized officials were operating in the executive authorities’ offices and offices of local self-government of Smolensk region.
