Alexey Ostrovskiy awarded the Prince of Smolensk Roman Rostislavovich scholarships

The Administration of Smolensk region hosted a ceremony of awarding the Prince of Smolensk Roman Rostislavovich scholarships established as a finance aid for the talented youth. Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy congratulated 30 talented school and university students of the region, who have shown an outstanding ability to master the curriculum, on receiving this prestigious award.

The Governor thanked the teachers and parents, without whom the success of the children would have been impossible, for their determination and hard work.

All the applicants for the regional scholarship passed a rigorous competitive selection. Among the winners there are winners of the international, national and regional Olympiads and contests, full-time students of state educational institutions of higher, primary and secondary vocational education with excellent results of intermediate certification for the academic year, as well as students of secondary educational institutions.
