The multifunctional centers of Smolensk region sum up their performance in 2016

Today, in Smolensk region there are 102 points of access to services: there are 27 multifunctional centers (MFC) in each district and 75 "My Documents" offices. There are 296 service windows are open to work with visitors in the centers.

Last year, the MFC network provided 514,284 services, including about 102 thousands of federal services and 80 thousands of regional ones.

However, Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy demanded to involve in this work not only the population but also representatives of the business community: "We also need to orient commercial structures to working with local authorities via the Multifunctional centers". As a result, the MFCs now provide services of issuing construction permits and licenses for the retail sale of alcoholic beverages, as well as the licensing of medical activity. In the nearest future it is planned to create Business and Entrepreneur Support Centers on the basis of the existing network.

All the work is carried out in accordance with the signed agreements on cooperation between the Smolensk Regional State Budgetary Institution "Multifunctional center for providing state and municipal services to the population" and public authorities, local governments, non-budgetary funds and other concerned organizations. So far, 61 agreements have been signed, in fact, 28 of them on the level of the municipalities. This is especially important because 403 kinds of services out of 560 are of the municipal level.
