A portal on small and medium-sized businesses has been launched in Smolensk region

The business portal MadeinSmolensk ("Made in Smolensk"), containing up-to-date information on the development of small and medium-sized businesses of Smolensk region, has been launched on the Internet.

The site was created with the support of the Cluster Development Center of Smolensk region, a link between the regional and municipal authorities, the business community, and financial institutions.

Denis Alenin, the Center Director, said that on the site it would be possible to learn economic and financial news important for the businesspeople, to read interviews with those who started their own businesses, and to see video clips about the companies of the region. In addition, the portal MadeinSmolensk will contain information about competitions, subsidies and other measures of support for the regional business, as well as announcements of upcoming business events - forums, business trainings, and seminars.

Information to be posted on the site can be offered by users themselves – there is an option "Add news" on the main page of the portal to do it. In this section, you can provide information about the events important for the company: developing new product lines or winning a prestigious regional or federal competition. This information, the website's authors emphasize, will also be interesting and relevant for the participants of the project.
