Anna Anufrienkova is “Smolensk Pearl – 2017”

The "Gubernsky" Cultural and Recreational Center hosted the II regional talent contest "Smolensk Pearl", in which the twelve children from social welfare organizations for the family and children took part.

The contest, which is held with the support of Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy, gives the participants an opportunity to demonstrate their creative abilities, discover their new talents, develop artistic taste and overcome uncertainty when performing on stage and communicating with the audience.

Competing for the title "Smolensk pearl", the contestants - girls aged 9 to 14 – passed several stages. Their "homework" was to prepare some dishes, and to make some hand-made items on the theme "Nature and fantasy". During the final stage, in the "Gubernsky"Cultural and Recreational Center, the participants presented the video greetings prepared by them, suits made of natural and improvised materials, as well as short performances. It should be noted that the environment and nature protection topics were taken as the basis of many competitive works, which is especially relevant during the Year of Ecology.

All the participants of the contest received personal titles, gifts and flowers, and Anna Anufrienkova from the "Rainbow" Yartsevo Social and Rehabilitation center for minors was chosen to be "Smolensk pearl - 2017" by the decision of the jury.
