Smolensk companies take part in the "Innoprom-2017"exhibition

In Yekaterinburg, July 10 to 13, the VIII International Exhibition of Industry and Innovation "Innoprom-2017" is taking place. On the instruction of Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy, a delegation from Smolensk region, comprised of the representatives of a number of industrial enterprises of the region, is going to participate in its work.

The International Exhibition of Industry and Innovations has been held in Yekaterinburg since 2010, and in 2012 the Government of Russia awarded it with a federal status.

A significant event in the work of Innoprom-2017, highlighting the importance of the exhibition for the development of the industry and economy of the state, was the participation of the Russian President Vladimir Putin in the opening ceremony of the exposition.

This year, 640 companies from 17 countries are taking part in the exhibition, the main theme of which is defined as "Smart production. Global Approach". 95 states have sent their trade and industry delegations to “Innoprom”.

On the instruction of Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy, the delegation of Smolensk region was formed to participate in the event. It was comprised of the representatives of LLC “Lasertag”, LLC “Engineering and Technical Center “Promix”, LLC “RTS”, LLC “Polymix”, and
LLC “Ruselprom-SEZ”.

The participation of the regional companies in “Innoprom-2017” was organized by the Smolensk Region Export Support Center, as well as the enterprises were provided with state support - in fact, funds were allocated for the production of a common stand, at which the companies are represented.

Within the exhibition, there are three specialized sites. The first of them is "Industrial Automation"; the companies from our region are taking part in its exposition. Here, visitors can learn about the technology of computer vision, communication systems, as well as get acquainted with the achievements in the field of robotics. Among the participants there are scientific and production associations and developers of industrial automation solutions.

Another site is "Technologies for Energy Sector", which demonstrates current and promising technological solutions for all the stages of the energy cycle. Equipment for heat and power generation, transmission and distribution of energy, as well as its effective consumption is presented here.

The site "Mechanical engineering and production of components for the machine-building industry" is devoted to the largest Russian and world premieres of innovative products - the latest mechanisms of heavy and light engineering, as well as the precision engineering and instrumentation, the most advanced industry of today.
