One radio-wave for Russia and Belorussia

For the first time in Smolensk the «First National Belorussian Radio Channel» and «Radio of Russia -Smolensk» organized an international «radio bridge». The event was dated for the Day of Unity of Belorussia and Russia. It will be realized on April, 2.

Deputy Governor Aleksandr Dolgov, Head of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Smolensk Nikolay Kutsko, representatives of the executives of the region had been discussing the prospects of frontier cooperation with their colleagues from the profile ministries of Belorussia for an hour.

The parties discussed the problems of further development of economic relations. They paid attention to the transport and road construction fields, interregional cooperation and agriculture.

Besides the main topics of the discussion were the cooperation in the sphere of energy-saving, the development of logistic systems, rebirth of shipping on the Dnieper and making shared tourist routes along the places concerned with the Great Patriotic War of 1812.

The recording of the radio bridge will be on the air on Tuesday (April, 5th) at 13.20 on the radio-waves «Radio of Russia - Smolensk».
