Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy congratulated the staff of the “Roslavlskaya Pravda” newspaper on their jubilee

As part of his working visit to Roslavl district, Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy took part in a ceremonial event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the “Roslavlskaya Pravda” newspaper.

For its age-long history, “Roslavlskaya Pravda” has acquired the reputation of a newspaper with a powerful professional potential and high journalistic culture. The pages of the newspaper always present the most important news of the region and an analytical look at the current events.  Objectivity and honesty to the reader make “Roslavlskaya Pravda” a popular newspaper that has taken its niche in the information space of Smolensk region.

At the ceremony, Alexey Ostrovskiy awarded the Letters of Appreciation from the Governor to the best employees of the editorial staff. Sergei Dubovsky, Deputy Chief Editor of the newspaper, and Natalia Tikhanovskaya, Chief Accountant, were hounored for many years of their conscientious work, highly professional performance of their duties, and personal contribution to the development of the district journalism.

The Head of the region presented the staff of the editorial office with a pleasant gift - a compact camera and a multifunctional device - a copier-printer.

In his turn, Arkady Ryzhikov, the Chief Editor of the newspaper, thanked the Governor for the assistance and support of the regional printed mass media, assuring that “Roslavlskaya Pravda” will continue to please its readers with high-quality materials on topical issues.
