Smolensk delegation will take part in the international forum "Russian Energy Week"

On the task of Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy, the delegation of Smolensk region, comprised of the heads and staff of the Energy, Energy Efficiency and Tariff Policy Department, will participate in the International Energy Efficiency and Development Forum "Russian Energy Week", which will be held in Moscow from 3 to 7 October.

According to the organizers, the Forum's goal is to demonstrate the prospects of the Russian fuel and energy complex (FEC) and realize the potential of international cooperation in the energy sector. The event will become a platform for discussion of topical problems concerning development of the energy sector of the economy, gas, oil, coal, petrochemicals, electric power, energy saving and energy efficiency.
The Forum will bring together the leaders of the world's and Russian largest energy companies.
It is expected that within the framework of the Forum the Smolensk delegation will become a participant of the All-Russian meeting on promotion of energy saving lifestyle and information openness of the fuel and energy complex, where the results of last year’s joint work will be summed up, and the goals of the  industry for the near future will be determined. Also, the results of the All-Russian Festival of Energy Saving #It’s is brighter together and the contest "MediaTEK" in the regions will be analyzed.
It should be reminded that with the support of Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy the festival # It is brighter together is held in Smolensk region every year. During his work in the region, a large-scale social campaign has been organized: thematic lessons and weeks of energy saving in educational institutions, creative and research competitions for school and university students, Open Doors days at the companies where energy-saving technology is demonstrated, etc.
