Smolensk residents are invited to take part in the "Leaders of Russia" contest

Heads of companies and organizations of all forms of ownership, representatives of the regional and municipal authorities are invited to participate in the "Leaders of Russia" contest, which is held by the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration and the Higher School of Public Administration.

The contest "Leaders of Russia" is aimed at identifying and supporting the most promising managers with a high level of development of managerial competencies.

Any citizen of Russia under the age of 50 and having at least five years of experience in management can take part in the project. In fact, for the participants under the age of 35 it is enough to have two years of management experience.

The contest consists of several stages. In the first round, it is necessary to pass online testing that will determine the managerial potential of the participants. According to the results of the remote selection, semi-finalists will be determined. They will take part in the federal stage of the contest, and will also have an opportunity to attend conferences dedicated to global management trends and to meet the experts. The 300 most promising participants will be invited to Moscow for the final stage of the contest. The finalists will receive grants for professional training, and the winners will be able to consult with experienced statesmen and top managers of the largest companies and state corporations of Russia within a year.

The best managers of the country, among whom there is Anton Vaino, the Head of the Presidential Administration of Russia, Sergey Kiriyenko, his first deputy, Andrey Belousov, the assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, Igor Shuvalov, the first Vice-Prime Minister, the ministers Sergey Shoigu, Anton Siluanov, Sergey Lavrov and other experts representing various spheres of business and public administration, will be special mentors at the contest.

The experts will assess such leadership qualities of the participants as strategic thinking, ability to focus on results, teamwork, readiness for training and self-development, balance in decision-making and other competencies necessary for modern managers.

The contest will last from October 2017 to February 2018. From November 24, the regional semi-finals will be held in the eight federal districts, in February there will be the final in Moscow.
