The Interregional Conference on issues of civil and patriotic education was held in Smolensk region

The key topic for discussion was the improvement of the system of civil and patriotic education of children and youth. The delegates shared experience of work of regional public organizations, volunteer associations, and search units.

The participants of the Conference discussed the best practices and prospects of the development of the military-patriotic movement "Yunarmia", as well as new modern forms and methods of engaging working youth in socially significant activities.

In their talks, the speakers paid special attention to stimulating the social activity of school and university students and fostering a sense of social responsibility with the younger generation, developing moral values ​​and respect for the cultural and historical heritage of Russia.

At the end of the Conference, the participants came to the conclusion that it was necessary to strengthen interregional cooperation in the field of civil and patriotic education, as well as the interaction between state and municipal public organizations and associations, and to promote the expansion of a network of centers with patriotic orientation for children and youth.
