Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy congratulated specialists of the Prosecutor’s Office on their professional holiday

Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy took part in the ceremony dedicated to the 296th anniversary of the Russian Prosecutor’s Office and congratulated veterans and current employees of the agency on their professional holiday.

Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy greeted the audience and pointed out that the Administration of the region highly appreciates the effective work carried out by the Prosecutor's offices: "We thank you, Yevgeny Viktorovich (Polonsky, Prosecutor of Smolensk region) and your subordinates for the assistance that the Prosecutor's Office of Smolensk region provides to the regional authorities in protecting the rights of minors, orphans and children left without parental care, the rights of citizens to pay for labor, implementing the law in the housing and utility sector, and other important areas. We constantly feel your support and are grateful for it."

In his turn, Yevgeny Polonsky, the Prosecutor of Smolensk region, congratulated the specialists of the agency on their professional holiday and said: "Today the Prosecutor's Office is a powerful, well-coordinated team capable of solving the most important tasks. Dear colleagues, we honestly and conscientiously fulfill our official duty, working hard, at the expense of our personal time, and the results of our supervisory activities in the past year can serve as a proof of this."
