Smolensk representatives have been invited to participate in the All-Russian competition of the best socio-economic practices

The regional stage of the All-Russian competition of best practices and initiatives of social and economic development of the subjects of the Russian Federation, conducted by the Strategic Initiatives Agency, was launched.

According to the organizers, the goal of the competition is to identify, describe and replicate successful practices and initiatives aimed at solving social and economic problems in the subjects of the Russian Federation, as well as engaging the public in the implementation of the best projects.

The competition is held in the following nominations: "Development of human capital", "Creating necessary living conditions and improving the quality of life of the population", "Creating conditions for increasing the economic potential of the region", "Creating conditions for increasing the information and technological potential of the region", “Ensuring accessibility of services in the social sphere", "Creating comfortable conditions for rural business development", "Developing the tourist potential of the region", and "Creating conditions for development of volunteerism".

Those who have experience of performing successful practices and initiatives in these areas can participate in the competition. Applications should be e-mailed to the Investment Development Department to the e-mail address: konkurs@smolinvest.com. Based on the results of the regional stage, which will last until August 15, a consolidated application from Smolensk region to the Strategic Initiatives Agency will be formed.

The award ceremony for the winners will be held in the framework of the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi in next February. The practices that are recognized as the best ones will be included in the "Relevant Solutions Store" - a common information platform for effective interregional exchange of experience, formed by the Agency.

In addition, in Smolensk, there are two business-windows based at the Multifunctional centers and providing more than 200 different public services for businesses.

As a reminder: according to the results of the National rating of the investment climate in the regions of Russia conducted by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, Smolensk region has been shortlisted in the area of ​​"Support of small business" together with Moscow, Tula and Tyumen regions, and Khabarovskiy Krai.
