Meeting of International Club of Directors is held in Smolensk

In the large hall of Administration of Smolensk region took place  the 56-th meeting ofInternational Club of Directorsabout: «Modernization of consciousness as a requirement and primary condition for modernization of Russian economy», that was held in the region on 25-th and 26-th of May. Plenary sitting was opened by President of International Club of Directors, professor, member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Abel Aganbegyan.

Governor of Smolensk region Sergey Antufiev, Chairman of regional duma Anatoliy Mishnev, Main federal inspectorVladimir Slepnev,  Chairman of Smolensk department of all-Russian noncommercial association, «Russian Engineering workers guild», Svyatoslav Masyutin, heads of many large and leading Russian enterprises participated the meeting work.

During the meeting took place an evidence-based exchange of views and experience, were prepared operational guidelines, and new business contacts will surely animate development of enterprises, that are focused on high technologies. Sergey Antufiev emphasized during his speech that amount of finance invested in research and development have increased in recent years manifold. In Smolensk region, in recent seven years increased finance for technological innovations by  six times. At the same time in the eye of speakers it is not possible to modernize economy without, preparing of highly skilled engineering and technical workers. And this problem was also analyzed by members of meeting. «Today understand  far-seeing managers, from preparing of  skilled and effective stuff  depends future of our enterprises and consequently future of the region and of the Russian Federation in whole», – said the  Governor.      

In his turn, Abel Aganbegyan emphasized: «The Russian industry has reached that level, when we have not to be glad with the fact that it managed to get ahead of similar Russian enterprise with old-fashioned equipment, but we can and must step up demands – and compare our enterprises with modern international enterprises. There are a variety of largest enterprises,  that are at the head of  advanced directors, and have passed perfectly through a crisis . And their  advanced experience is  extremely important for colleagues».

Under representative Economic Forum is planed  public inspections of «PO «Kristall» JSC, Federal State Unitary Enterprise «SPO «Analitpribor», «Factory «Sharm»Ltd. and roundtable discussions.
