Future machine operators have shown their professional skill

For two days a regional competition of professional skill «Tractor driver of agricultural production» by trade among learning in educational establishments of primary and secondary professional education took place at Demidov agrarian-technological training college. Eleven representatives from six schools and colleges of Smolensk were engaged in competition to the title of the best.

On the first stage of the competition every educational establishment has presented a visit card of its team and the participants have made a theoretical task. During the second stage the competitors were coming to show the ability to handle the technique in practice and first of all to plough up old land skillfully.

The future machine operators were addressed with words of encouragement by the experienced tutors – honored workers of agriculture. Father Superior of the Cathedral of Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin the priest Vladimir has consecrated the tractors before its work. Yuriy Glebov, deputy head of the Department of education of Smolensk region has opened a practical part of the competition paving the first furrow.

The first place was taken by Anton Shul’kov from Demidov agrarian college. He was rewarded with a TV set. The second place was taken by Andrey Luk’yanov from Kozlovka agricultural college. He was rewarded with a microwave. The third place was taken by Anton Gurenkov from professional college № 29 of Pochinok. He was rewarded with a set of instruments. Besides, all participants of the competition have got honorable prizes.
