Class in physical education was held in the heart of Smolensk

Mass youth fitness marathon named «Class in physical education of XXI century» has started near the cinema «Sovremennik» on International Children's Day. 

This action was organized within the framework of the project «Smolensk – territory of health», that is focused on setting the fashion for healthy lifestyle among young people and popularization of exercises and sports.

Participants and guest were welcomed by Alexey Gurenkov, the head of regional Department of sports, tourism and youth policy. He has mentioned there is good reason to hold such a holyday of health, by the way for the first time in Smolensk, today,on International Children's Day, because our future depends from the consideration that we give to our children and their harmonious development.

Schoolchildren, students and townsmen, which keep to healthy life-style, have gotten the perfect opportunity to watch demonstration lesson from the leading fitness trainers and consult dietitians concerning balanced feeding and healthy life-style.
