Last year the board of deputies was renewed. This year Yuriy Alekseevich Petrov, a strong-minded leader was elected as a head of the Administration of municipal establishment «Monastyrschinsky rayon». It is obvious that the border territory has changed. «The first impressions of my visit is that people are get ready for the result, - has commented Sergey Antufiev. – I want to help those who have been working. The district is positively developed, people have made spring-planted works, that is why I have a desire for helping».

Together with Sergey Antufiev, his deputies Alexey Vorob’ev, Alexander Dolgov and Sergey Krivko, a secretary of regional department «United Russia» and deputy chairman of the regional Duma Andrey Shmatkov, heads of the executive bodies and local self government have visited Monastyrschinsky district.

The delegation took place in the opening of youth festival «Novaya Zarya». In the central square of Monastyrschina a state admission of youth to membership of Young Guards of the United Russia was organized. «The importance of this event is that young people took a responsibility to be leaders, to develop district, region, country», - underlined in his speech the head of the region.

The youth festival «Novaya Zarya» went on in the ancient settlement Andrusovo of Monastyrschinsky district. In 1667 in the village Afanasiy Naschokin a Russian diplomat has signed a truce with a mission Rzeczpospolita. So Smolensk was returned to Russia on the diplomatic level. In 1654 Smolensk was included in the structure of the Moscow state, though only 13 years later legal recognition of the territory of Smolensk was occurred. Terms of the truce were confirmed by «Everlasting Peace» with Poland in 1686. In 1974 a memorable sigh was placed in Andrusovo. New authority of the district paid attention on it. According to speech of Yuriy Petrov project of revival of the village history is developed.

«When we speak about origins of the Russian state system we should come back to Smolensk. I believe that the defense of Smolensk within 20 months in 1609-1611, 400 years since the end of it will be in June, and the armistice in Andrusovo are of great importance both for Smolensk and our state», - said Sergey Antufiev.
