Hotel business of Smolensk: problems and views

Conference on development of hotel business in Smolensk was organized in Administration of the region. 

Deputy Governor Alexey Vorob’ev, president of the Russian Hotel Association Gennadiy Lamshin, heads of executive authorities of the region, representatives of organizations of tourist and hotel industry took part in the sessions of the conference.

The participants of the conference discussed problems of classification of the objects in tourist industry, training of experts for accreditation, making database of producers of goods and services for enterprises of hotel industry, organization of training and retraining of professional personnel, preferential crediting of new construction, reconstruction of operating hotels.

As a result Alexey Vorob’ev and Gennadiy Lamshin have signed an Agreement of Cooperation between Administration of Smolensk region and the Russian Hotel Association to develop hotel business in Smolensk with new opportunities.
