Olga Okuneva has met with participants of the International volunteer movement

The deputy Governor – head of the Administration Office Olga Okuneva has visited an international volunteer camp «Nadezhda», opened in a child rehabilitation centre «Vishenki» a week ago.

She has took part in the festival «Crown of friendship», where children have told about their countries and made performances about its culture and life.

«Is there anything more valuable than friendship?.. If you are a good friend you also have friends and you know that your success will be shared by them and you won’t be alone if there are any problems, - has told Olga Okuneva while addressing to the participants of the camp. - I am sure that boys and girls, families here have found friends among heads of this establishment, heads of the department of social development, doctors and all those who came to the camp. It’s true, when you have a circle of friends, you have less problems. Dear friends, I wish you health and good spirits! »

Olga Okuneva has visited workplaces of the rehabilitation centre «Vishenki» and its museum, she has also seen the work of parents’ club «Subbotnaya academiya».

At the tea party Olga Okuneva has told about history of Smolensk, famous countrymen, development of voluntary movement in the region. Boys and girls have shared their impressions of the centre, Russian culture and national traditions.

At the end of the meeting the guest has got a shirt with a symbol of the camp and the diploma of participant.
