New kindergarten was named «Zvezdny»

For the first time over the last 20 years the new kindergarten was built in the regional centre. It is located in the Gagarin avenue and opened in the year of the Russian cosmonautics, that is why it is named «Zvesdny». The Governor Sergey Antufiev took part in the opening of the new preschool institution.

The head of the region has underlined the symbolicalness of the year of opening of the kindergarten that is the year of fifties anniversary since the flight of Yuriy Gagarin into the outer space.

The construction of the kindergarten for 150 places (8 groups) began in 2010. The regional budget object value makes 47 mln. rubles. The developer is «Smolenskgrazhdanproekt», the customer is «The Department  of capital construction of Smolesnk region», the general contractor is «ASGtekhnostroy» Ltd. (Moscow). The kindergarten has 55 employees, including 16 kindergarteners and 10 junior kindergarteners.

The manager Irina Zenina showed the head of the region and parents a kitchen, a play room and bedrooms, sports and kindergarten hall. 20 children have already visited this preschool institution.
