Сombined exercises of Ministry of the Interior (MOI) of Russia and Belarus were held in Smolensk

Special tactical training exercises of Ministries of the Interior of two states were held in Smolensk on the 18-th. of November. The main target became team building of subdivisions of Ministry of the Interior of Russia and Belarusfor stopping of criminal encroachment of cars equipped with monitoring systems of mobile objects. 

Minister of Interior of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Rashid Nurgaliyev and Minister of Interior of the Republic of Belarus, Major-General of the Militia Anatoliy Kuleshov controlled training exercises.

According intention of organizers, two russian low-tonnage cars, equipped with monitoring systems of mobile objects and video control systems, ran from Moscow to Minsk.  On 405 km of the motorway controlled cars were stopped by conditioned criminals, drivers and forwarders had to leave cars. But it managed to them to press alarm button. Alarm call came to police control rooms in extra departmental Protection Directorate of MOI of Russia in Smolensk region that informed Department for protection of the Republic Belarus.

Neighbouring flying squads and car of Road Patrol Service were informed about this incident. There were an opportunity to receive pictures with photos of cars capturers and the information was sent to MOI of Russia in Smolensk region for identification evidence. And on duty of operations control centre of Department for protection of the Republic Belarus informed about incident MOI of Vitebsk Executive Committee.

This time travel of stolen vehicle was controlled by pilotless aircraft. Staffs of extra departmental Protection Directorate of MOI of Russia in Smolensk region and Road Patrol Service were at the back of vehicle that moved to Smolensk. And at one point criminals left stolen vehicle and tried to escape. But shortly they were caught by extra departmental Protection Directorate and given to the Operational-Investigations Group of MOI of Russia in Smolensk region.

At the same time the second stolen vehicle, transited state border where militia tours of duty of MOI of Vitebsk Executive Committee were already waiting for it. Criminals were arrested and delivered to police control room. Operation was finished successfully.  All process of arrest occupied not more than 35 minutes.

After tacticaltraining exercises Ministers of MOI of Russia and Belarus laid flowers to eternal flame and after that awarded the best representatives of  MOI of the Russian Federation and the Rebublic of Belarus.
