The International exhibition «Safety and labor protection – 2011»

In the All-Russian exhibition center, Moscow, from 6 to 9 December the XV anniversary International specialized exhibition «Safety and labor protection – 2011»was organized.

The developers and producers of means of self-defense from Russia, Germany, India, France, Finland, Great Britain, Latvia, Poland, Italy, Sweden and Holland took part in it.

At the exhibition «BIOT-2011» any customer had an opportunity to see modern achievements of domestic manufacturers and foreign suppliers in the field of production of means of self-defense meeting the requirements of standards. The exhibitors offered more than 5000 kinds of production. The employers could choose means of self-defense against hazardous and dangerous factors of production.

The Smolensk region department on social development has organized a delegation to visit the exhibition. The delegation consisted of 95 specialists on labor protection of the key enterprises of the region, representatives of executive bodies and local self-government. Members of the delegation got acquainted with the latest developments in the field of labor protection; they got advertising publications about samples and consultations of specialists of their use. The specialists will have a possibility to make offers on use of modern means of self-defense to improve working conditions and take preventive measures on occupational traumatism and occupational morbidity in the region. Besides, the exhibition visit gives an opportunity to get acquainted with colleagues from other regions, to exchange experience and get contacts.

Within the scope of the exhibition under support of the Ministry of healthcare and social development of the Russian Federation the 10-th All-Russian congress «Profession and health» and the 5-th International conference on labor protection have been organized.
