Medium without barriers is forming now in Internet

Website «Smolensk region without limits» was presented on the First International festival «Integration» for electronic mass media programs and internet projects about disabled persons and for the disabled.

For participation in contest were offered more than 250 works in the field of television, radio and internet from Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Byelorussia, Vatican, Latvia, Moldova, Slovakia, Finland, Sweden and Estonia. The best works were included with festival program and were shown to audience.

Website «Smolensk region without limits» was presented on festival. This project was created on order of Department of Smolensk region for information technologies, connection and supply with digital services in the scope of long-term regional grant program «Creation of free access to the objects of social infrastructure fordisabled persons living in Smolensk region» for the years 2010-2012.

The present project was approved by jury of festival and awarded with certificate and memorable present.

Up to 2011 the festival «Integration» had a status of All-Russian festival and was held three times. This year, organizers decided to festival with international status.

This arrangement was organized by International Academy of television and radio in cooperation with russian national society of the disabledwith the support of mass media and advertising Department, International confederation of journalistic unions and journalistic Union of the Russian Federation.

Panel discussion on a topic «Cyberspace as a base for forming of medium without barriers» was also held as a part of festival, that traditionally is taken place in December when celebrates Day of the disabled.
