In Smolensk region were drawn up the results of presidential elections. Vladimir Putin won  56,69%, Gennady Zyuganov - 23,07%, Vladimir Zhirinovsky - 7,94%, Mikhail Prokhorov - 6,75% and Sergey Mironov - 4,34%.

Voting turnout reached 59,06% that is considerably more than during recent elections for the State Duma that have taken place on the 4. of December 2011 – 49,61%. If to compare rate of voter participation with presidential elections of the years 2004 and 2008 so this index reached 56,91% and 65,02% correspondingly.

There were no written applications about any violations committed during voting.
