From Sevastopol to Moscow – «Ways to Victory!»

Early year the Committee of State Duma of the Russian Federation on CIS and ties with countrymen has supported the idea of the group of public organizations of the Ukraine and the Russian Federation of the development and implementation of the International project «Ways to Victory!» in spring 2012, being devoted to the 67-th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet Union in the Great Patriotic War.

On 27 March the project has started from Sevastopol, the participants should arrive to Moscow day before 9 May, where a cloth of the dimensioned copy of the Victory Colors together with the state flags of three fraternal Slavonic states is planned to be located in the Red Square.

The participants of the tour will go through the territory of Ukraine, Russian Federation and Republic of Belarus, ipso facto connecting 13 hero cities, 36 cities of military glory and 10 cities, awarded by the order of the Patriotic war of the I Class. During the international tour the meetings with representatives of authority, public, pupils are organized, the idea of cooperation of states which were involved in the war and routed the enemy is developing.

In our region the project participants «Ways to Victory!» will visit a hero city of Smolensk and cities of military glory El’nya and Vyazma.
