«Potemkin's amusements» in village Tshizhovo

Youth touristic festival «Potemkin's amusements» has taken place in twice in village Tshizhovo, Dukhavschina district that is His Serene Highness Grigoriy Aleksandrovich Potemkin at home. 

This year it has become an international status: to Smolensk young people has joined youth from Belarus. Administration of Dukhavschina district with the aid of Administration of Smolensk region has acted as organizer of festival.

Deputy of Governor Nikolai Kuznetsov, President of Smolensk Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Arkhipenkov, heads of Dukhavschina and Kardymovo districtshave participated in the solemn ceremony of opening.

More than 90 participants of festival have gathered this year at home of Grigoriy Aleksandrovich Potemkin. Interesting and rich program has included games «treasure hunters», sports tournaments, amusements, quiz «chariot of history», contest «Russian sarafan» and many other things. Festival  «Potemkin's amusements» is a broad range of arrangements directed at preservation of historical heritage, keeping memory about great and men of outstanding personality.

All participants were awarded with special memorable presents and certificates of international youth touristic festival «Potemkin's amusements».
