Natives of Smolensk got state awards

The solemn ceremony of presenting of state awards of the Russian Federation took place in the Great Hall of regional Administration. Thirteen natives of Smolensk were awarded by Governor Aleksey Ostrovskiy.

Yelchaninova Ludmila Alexandrovna - sculptor, memberof the Smolensk Regional Branch of the Russian creative public organization "Union of Artists of Russia" was awarded to the Order of Friendship for hergreat services in the development of culture and art and many years of creative activity.

Forlabor achievements and many years of diligent work to the medal of "Order of Merit for the Fatherland» of the II degree were awarded:

Novikova Irina Alekseevna – head of the kindergarten № 21 in Smolensk,

Tchebanjuk Michael Iosifovich – director of secondary school Nr.2 in Demidov.

Osman Egor Igorevich, schoolboy of secondary school Nr.5 in Roslavl was awarded to medal "For the salvation of perishing" for hiscourage and determination in the rescue of people in extreme conditions. He rescued a small childfrom drowning in the river. Egor applied first aid, called team of service "Ambulance" and workers' of search-and-rescue team. The child remained alive thanks to competent and decisive actions of Roslavl schoolboy.

For services to the scientific and educational activities and contribution to the training of qualified specialists honorary title "Honored Worker of Higher Education of the Russian Federation" was awarded to:

Bondarev Dmitry Petrovich – Associate Professor of Biological Chemistry, Bioorganic of the Smolensk State Medical Academy,

Egorov Alexander Grigoryevich – provost for research and investment work of the Smolensk State University,

Chmeljova Elena Victorovna –Dean of the Faculty of Psychology and Education of the Smolensk State University.

For services in the field of culture and many years of fruitful work of the honorary title "Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation" was awarded to:

Vin'kova Yanina Michailovna – artist-instrumentalist of Smolensk Chamber Orchestra,

Eliseenkova Valentina Ivanovna – Commercial Director of CDC "Gubernskiy",

Sychugov Andrew Michailovich – assistant professor of orchestral pop (brass) instruments of the Smolensk State Institute of Arts.

For services in the field of vocational education and many years of hard work the honorary title "Honored Master of Industrial Training of the Russian Federation" was given to Tchernukhin Vladimir Ivanovich – master of apprenticeship vocational school Nr. 1 in Safonovo.

For servicesin teaching and educational activities, and many years of hard work the title "Honored Teacher of the Russian Federation" was awarded to:

Ivachsenkova Irena Ferdinandovna – teacher of Gymnasium of aesthetic profilein Smolensk,

Napreeva Tamara Ivanovna – teacher of secondary school Nr. 4 in Vyazma named after A.B. Michailov, Hero of the Soviet Union.

Also threenatives of Smolensk received thank you letters of the President of the Russian Federation:

Alasheev Nicholas Nikolaevich – Head of the Administration of Smolensk,

Gavrichenkova Alina Evgenyevna – Chairman of the Smolensk regional association (peasant) farms,

Gimarov Vladimir Alexandrich – Deputy of Smolensk Regional Duma on a permanent professional basis.
