Aleksey Ostrovskiy awarded winners of the international tournament in hammer throw

In Smolensk, on the specialized field of the stadium "Wings of the Soviets" of Academy of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism was held an International Tournament in hammer throw for the prizes of Olga Kuzenkova - Olympic champion, and world record holder and European champion.

Leading sportsmen of Russiaand Belarus participated in the competitions despite the inclement weather.

The Head ofthe region awarded best athletes to prizes. Champion’s tournament in adults became Zlata Tarasova from Togliatti and Igor Vinnichenko field athlete from the Moscow region. The youth winners trophies won Moscow athlete Elizabeth Tsareva and Native of Smolensk Eugene Korotovskikh he confirmed the high level of Smolensk school of hammer throwers once again. Igor Vinnichenko got special prize - Governor's Cup, as an athlete, which showed the best result in the tournament by throwing range missile.
