Awarding of winners of contest for title of the "Best Doctor" and the "Best health worker"

In the great hall of regional Administration was held a solemn presentation of winners of competition for title the "Best Doctor" and the "Best health worker" on the results of 2012.

The winners of regional contest the "Best Doctor 2012" became 15 doctors in 13 categories. In competition for the title the "Best health worker" attended nine professionals. This year it was held in the "Best Head obstetric units." In the end, the jury determined the four winners.

Deputy of Governor Olga Vasilyeva and Head of Department of Health Vladimir Steptchenkov presented the winners with diplomas and valuable prizes. Also, 22 medical specialist got diplomas as participants of competition.

Olga Vasilyeva said in her welcoming speech that work of a variety of medical specialties is impossible without high-level professionalism, sensitivity and attention, of mercy and compassion, loyalty, once selected the most humane profession.

"In Smolensk are working great professionals who have chosen this profession by birth. Working in the health care system is not only responsible, but also difficult. You come to the aid of the most difficult times, making a sometimes impossible, to preserve the most valuable thing we have - life and health. We owe you a good feeling and mood. People expect from you not only knowledge in any field of medicine and experience, but also mental sympathy, warmth and support. Thank you for being in our difficult time, you do not lose your humanity, without which it is impossible to become a good doctor", – noted vice-governor.

In celebration of the best workers of the regional health care system also attended the Chairman of the Public Chamber of the Smolensk region Elena Ulyanenkova, chairman of the regional trade union organization of health Valentina Anufrienkova, chairman of the regional public organization "Medical association» Natalia Aksjonova, who presented diplomas and prizes.
