Ski-Track of Russian - 2013

XXXI Open National mass ski race "Ski-Track of Russia – 2013” was organized at the sports and health complex "Smena" in Krasniy Bor. Over three thousand people took part in the three, five and ten kilometer races. Professionals and amateurs, athletic families, teams of colleagues, people with disabilities participated in the "Ski-Track of Russia - 2013".

The opening ceremony began with the video address to the race participants from Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy who could not be present at the event because of a business trip.

"I am delighted that the Smolensk region as the other regions of Russia takes part in the race "Ski-Track of Russia ". From year to year, from decade to decade we have been keeping to this good tradition of going in for sports ourselves and with our families", - said the Governor in his address.

The ceremony of awarding the winners of the race was attended by three Vice-Governors: Lev Platonov, Igor Lyakhov and Nikolai Kuznetsov.

Despite the bad weather conditions the races were held in accordance with the schedule.
