Smolensk representatives received President’s grants

Culture professionals from the Smolensk region received grants of the President of the Russian Federation. On March, 20 Vladimir Putin signed the order approving the list of people who are to receive the state support for creative projects of national importance.

In accordance with the presidential order № 1010 of July 1, 1996 "On measures to strengthen public support for culture and arts in the Russian Federation" and basing on the results of the competition held in 2012, the presidential grants have been awarded for carrying out 100 creative projects.

Among the winners there is Art Director, Director of the Smolensk regional public organization "Special projects TV company "Prosveschenie" Vladimir Valentinovich Mosev. He will receive the state support to create historical documentary "Grigoriy Potemkin" as a part of the collection "Famous people of the Smolensk region".

The President’s grant was also awarded to the concertmaster and accompanist of the Regional State Budget Organization of Culture "Culture and recreation center “Gubernskiy” Anna Valerievna Shaporenko. The honor state grant will be used to organize and hold the International Forum of children dance groups from the bordering territories of Russia and Belarus.
