The winners of the regional competition of young scientists awarded

Deputy Governor Olga Vasilyeva took part in the award ceremony of the traditional regional competition of student research papers, 2013.

Addressing the winners, Olga Vasilyeva wished them to put the results of their research into practice as soon as possible, to have further opportunities along with the government support to make new scientific discoveries for the benefit of their home region of Smolensk and the whole Russia.

"We all realize that victories are not gained easily. There is a lot of hard work behind them. - said the vice-governor. - By your own example you prove the fact that we have a really wonderful young generation who has a decent future. I express my special thanks to the teachers and lectures preparing such talented young people who we can be proud of. I wish you all new intellectual victories ".

The winners were awarded cash prizes: the third prize of 5,000 rubles, the second prize of 10,000 rubles, and the first prize of 15,000 rubles.

The expert council decided to award diplomas to a number of works for their creativity and originality.
