The exhibition-contest “100 best goods of Russia”

The cultural and entertainment center "Gubernskiy" hosted a regional stage of the Federal contest within the Program "100 best goods of Russia", which celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2012. The contest has become a reliable means of promoting a variety of products and services on the domestic and international markets. The Smolensk region annually takes an active part in it.

Today, the logo "100 Best Goods of Russia" is a well-known and respected brand. In his speech at the opening ceremony of the exhibition-contest First Deputy Head of the Industry, Transport and Roads Department of the Smolensk region Gennady Yakovlev said that participation in this prestigious contest increases interest of manufacturers in producing high-quality domestic goods, from which all consumers are sure to benefit. The winners are eligible to use for promotional purposes logos of "100 best goods of Russia" contest winners for two years.

The strategy of the contest is to give business leaders a real opportunity to evaluate the products objectively and critically, to find the ways to improve them and to increase their competitiveness. According to the practice of the World Trade Organization taking part in this competition may significantly help our manufacturers. The participating companies are in a privileged position, as the assessment of their performance in terms of quality, safety, ecology, health, and corporate culture carried out in the framework of the competition is an important preparation for the transition to the new level of competition.

During the regional stage of the exhibition-contest the expert committee on quality will select the best products of the Smolensk regional companies which will participate in the All-Russian competition.

This time 13 companies from the Smolensk region: IP Romanishyn,OOO "Norla-T", OOO “Smolensk collection", OOO "Biskvit", OOO "Elizaveta", IP Schebetkov, ZAO "Smolensk Hosiery Factory", OOO "Peppi", OOO "Smolenskoblgaz" (Sport and Health Complex "Smena” of "Smolenskoblgaz "), OOO " Center of Engineering ", OAO "NK "Rosneft-Smolensknefteproduct", OOO "Okna-Maksiform", OOO "Gnezdovo" took part in the regional stage of the contest.

The contestants submitted to the regional expert committee 114 different products and 4 services in the four categories: food products, industrial consumer goods, public services, art and craft works.
