The Day of Family, Love and Loyalty

Just before the All-Russian holiday - the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, which will be celebrated on July, 8, there was a dinner party "Family is a kingdom of great love, family is the base of the state" organized by the Head Department of the Registry Office of the of the Smolensk region.

It brought together family couples from the districts and towns of the region, who brought up their children and gained respect of the local people for their strong family traditions based on mutual loyalty and love. The couples who have got married this year and have just begun their family life were celebrated on the same day.

All of them were greeted by Vice-Governors Olga Vasilieva and Nikolai Kuznetsov, Head Department of the Registry Office Galina Petrova and others. The experienced family couples and newlyweds received memorable gifts, and, of course, enjoyed the festive spirit of the evening.

In her welcoming speech Olga Vasilyeva said that it is married people who find warmth, peace and stability, which our daily lives often lack. All the speakers wished the family couples of the Smolensk region good health and a long and happy life together. Let love and mutual respect dominating in the united families remain there for many years, helping to overcome any obstacles in life!

The greetings of the speakers were followed by a wonderful concert in honor of Family, Love and Loyalty. During the informal part of the evening the family couples generously shared the secrets of preserving and increasing family happiness with each other.
